Hello and Welcome to Cherished Travels! I'm Susan, the founder of this travel blog, and your go-to-guide for heartfelt adventures, unforgettable experiences, and meaningful escapes.

Based in the charming city of Lichfield, UK I share my home with my wonderful Welsh partner Charlie and our tow cheeky dogs, Frank the Jug and Bruce the ShihPoo. When we're not navigating through a sea of dog toys, I am dreaming up my next adventure with my beautiful Daughter Emma. 

Travel has always been a huge part of my life, but there's one place that holds a special piece of my heart - America. I'm endlessly inspired by the energy, culture and sheer scale of it all. From standing beneath the glowing lights of New York City and sipping coffee or Cocktails in quirky cafes and vibrant bars to taking in the breathtaking beauty of Niagara Falls and soaking up the cool vibe of Toronto - I've fallen in love with every moment.

And the journey's far from over.

This June, I'll be heading off on my next dream trip to Salem and Boston - a blend of history . mystery, and charm that I've always longed to explore. I can't wait to walk the cobbled streets, learn more about legends, and share every magical detail with you right here on Cherished Travels.
